Course Locations

Playa Del Carmen serves as our main base of operations for Cho2ptima training. Renowned as the premier location for cave diving, Playa del Carmen offers the world’s most extensive and breathtaking underwater cave systems, with over 1,500 km explored. You’ll have numerous options, from the clear and warm waters of cenotes to the stunning Caribbean Ocean. The choice between cenotes, ocean, or a combination of both is entirely yours, and we operate year-round. (We recommend booking your course or fun dives at least 3 months in advance).

As you may be aware, CCR training demands meticulous preparation, precise logistics, and skill development. We are fully dedicated to ensuring your safety and have taken every necessary measure to make training and dives more enjoyable for you. Our goal is to help you learn the correct procedures for safe diving, starting from basic skills and progressing all the way to complex CCR decompression diving, all in a relaxed environment tailored to your learning pace and progression, free from any pressure.

Getting There

Cancun International Airport is your gateway to Playa del Carmen, which is just a 50-minute drive away. You can choose to rent a car or let us take care of you with our secure private transportation service from Cancun Airport to Playa del Carmen and back at the end of your adventure.

Accommodation

While AirB&B is a popular choice, there are several options around the dive shop. Additionally, we have established partnerships with City Express Hotel and City Express Suites Hotel, both conveniently located across the street from the shop. We’ll assist you in selecting the best option for your needs.

Dive Logistics
