Catalina Island is renown for it’s remarkable Kelp Forests, beautiful visibility up to 30m and abundant marine life. Most dives can be done right from shore at the Casino Point Dive Park, as well as fantastic reef, walls and wrecks around Catalina accessible by dive boats.

Getting There:

There are many ways to get to Avalon, Catalina Island by simply booking a ticket aboard the Catalina Express Ferry from either San Pedro, Long Beach or Dana Point.

Getting Around:

Once on Avalon, everything is within walking distance or a short taxi ride. You’ll see more golf carts than vehicles on the island.
